    Presentation Information:

    Artificial Intelligence Primer

Presented by Bob Martin, Tech Integration Specialist

    MOREnet, University of Missouri

Before you can dive into the deep world of artificial intelligence, you need to know some basics. Understanding the basic premises of how AI works and what happens when you "prompt" a tool are critical to learning to use the tools you hear about effectively. Let’s break down those basics and discuss what to look for in a tool, how to ask questions, and interact with tools in ways that return more accurate and useful responses.

This session will be hands-on and involve web-based activities. Please bring a laptop or Chromebook if you can. We will have a limited number of devices available for those without to borrow.

We would love your feedback on up to three (3) topics to discuss during the small group breakout sessions. Please feel free to complete the following Google Form anytime between now and April 14 if you have additional topics you want to cover after your registration is submitted:

Sponsored by the Youth Services Community of Interest (YSCI), Missouri Library Association.
