The Young Adult Services Interest Group is seeking a Missouri librarian
who is interested in advocating library service to teens through
involvement with
the Missouri Library Association. The position of recorder begins a
three year commitment which
graduates from this position to YASIG Vice-Chair and then to YASIG
Chair.
The Recorder is responsible for:
taking notes at all YASIG executive council meetings,
maintaining membership lists,
recruiting new members,
creating the YA Roundup newsletter, and
soliciting membership volunteers for Gateway Award Reader/Selectors.
