Copyright and Open Educational Resources: Creation, Licensing, and Use

There’s still time to let us know you’ll be joining us to view and discuss this proprietary ACRL webcast! “Copyright permeates almost every aspect of the creation and use of Open Educational Resources (OER)… Students and faculty are often turning to librarians for answers about copyright compliance when creating and using OER. This interactive webcast will help prepare academic librarians to assist patrons in addressing a variety of issues.” Also on the agenda: a tour of the John M. Olin Library and lunch at a nearby restaurant. Email Mardi at mahaffym@umkc.edu to learn more or to register.
