The Ronald G. Bohley Award is presented jointly by MLA and Amigos to an individual or individuals whose actions have led libraries to work better together and who exemplify the best efforts to reach out beyond his or her own institution to further multi-type library cooperation throughout the State of Missouri. This year’s award winners represent the libraries of Washington University, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Missouri Historical Society, and the Missouri State Library. Chris Freeland, Katrina Stierholz, David Henry, and Barbara Reading were instrumental in establishing the MissouriHub, contributing content to the Digital Public Library of America (DPL). To date, eleven Missouri libraries have contributed over 138,000 records to DPL. This project has required meticulous planning and effective communication and cooperation.
