William Woods University seeks a highly qualified Reference/Information Literacy Librarian to provide library reference service and information literacy instruction, coordinate library collection development, including print and electronic resources; and coordinate and maintain the library web site. A Master's Degree in Librarianship (MLS) from an ALA-accredited program is required, plus two years library experience, preferably in the Reference area of an academic library. This is an administrative exempt, twelve month position with eligibility for faculty rank and tenure and requires evening and occasional weekend work. Communicate with faculty regarding library services and information resources available in specific disciplines
Coordinate the appearance of and maintain the content of the library's web site
Schedule and conduct library tours
Prepare informational and instructional aids, such as bibliographies, guides to library resources, etc.
Develop and maintain a collection of reference materials
Coordinate general collection development; select library materials in specific disciplines
Monitor use of electronic resources, evaluate new products, and select resources for addition to or deletion from the library's collections
Provide statistical data on use of library web site and electronic resources; monitor electronic resource management system and proxy server
Serve as WWU representative to ARTHUR and MOBIUS committees as needed
Participate in library policy making and planning

Experience working with diverse populations is a plus. Verbal, written and computer skills are essential. Must have a willingness to provide customer service in a small but busy branch in a transitional neighborhood.

Truman State University seeks a Digital Projects Librarian for Pickler Memorial Library. The successful candidate will build and maintain digital collections supporting the University’s mission and curriculum. Responsibilities include working with librarians and the campus community to identify opportunities for digital collection to meet information needs; identifying, evaluating, and implementing appropriate software and hardware for digital collections; identifying and implementing appropriate metadata standards; writing and maintaining policies and procedures relating to digital collections; marketing digital collections to the campus community; serving on Library and University committees; assisting at the reference desk; and other duties as assigned. This position would also have the opportunity to assist with traditional collection development.
Required Qualifications:
Education: ALA accredited MLS
Experience: Working experience with digital collections in a library setting.
Skills: Familiarity with issues and trends in digital collection management and related technologies; knowledge of metadata standards including MARC, LCSH, and emerging metadata standards; knowledge of digital capture standards; demonstrated oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; flexibility in an environment of rapid change.
